To create a long term vision of trend forecasting I referred to in-depth analysis of specified drivers and translations.

I used my wider knowledge to interpret facts, translating them into a written and visual presentation in the context of a fashion and lifestyle forecast. I practised my ability to think divergently and respond with spontaneity and ingenuity. For obvious reasons these predictions are not exact projections for the future, they are solely based around experimental scenarios that show some evidence of possibility through our modern-day developments.

 

Conceptual Predictions:

 

GYO Wardrobe - Using Bio-couture as an inspiration, this wardrobe features a greenhouse-like ‘closet’ in which high-end consumers cultivate bio-factured garments.

 

BeautyBots - The main inspiration for this is the development of nano-swimmers, taking ‘beauty from within’ to the next level. Beauty-bots that involve nano-technology that embeds beauty procedures inside the body, for example, hair dyeing, eyelash lengthening and skincare packs. 

 

Digital Wardrobe - With the advancements of 5G and digital fashion, I conceptualised a wardrobe with endless styling opportunities. A wardrobe system in which you digitally own garments. This means that consumers can interchange their wardrobe without the need for extensive manufacturing.
