Conceptual Collaborations

I explored the application of branding theory and creative visual identity in a fashion context. This encouraged me to develop a conceptual understanding of brand communication, new product development processes and creative visualization.

I worked on a range of brand development challenges, further evolving my skills in industry-standard software tools (Photoshop and InDesign). I considered how branding is applied by creating a conceptual collaboration. My chosen brand was Dover Street Market due to its contemporary and conceptual nature, My conceptual brand was Eight, a small boutique that works with local London artists each season to create one-of-a-kind garments. Upon research I discovered that the collection would fall on Dover Street Market’s 15th anniversary, therefore encouraging me to create a collection with a purpose.
